The recommended oils are castor and olive oil in a 40.60 ratio. It is really trial and error though,so try and see if jojoba works for you.

I'm back! I now swear by honey facials. Can someone tell me what oils are recommended for the Oil Cleansing method? I'm thinking about castor oil and jojoba oil.....also how do you measure? Thanks in advance.

Hey Ladies, I know its been a while since I blogged but I could not resist doing this. So throughout this past year I have been basically protective styling my hair with sew in weaves and when I am not wearing a weave, I have been doing the Brazilian treatment. Morning Ladies, well we're down to the wire--just about three weeks away to Wedding Day so hair care is critical.
I've been treating my hair, getting trims, and braiding it below my wigs. So we 're good there. I've started using castor oil on my edges to thicken and toughen them up.

Long time no blog lol!
My hair has made alot of progress since I've been weaving and braiding. There has been growth and thickness. Can't ask for more right? Well maybe one more thing--my sides.

Just in time for our 100+ degree weather this weekend, I got me some cornrows.

Man this move has definitley taken a toll. I knew that it would, so I opted for pixie braids back in May to help me keep my reggie simple while traveling. It took forever to put in, and it was a fairly sloppy job. To be honest, I didn't like them in the beginning. I hated them, but I was determined to keep them in while traveling. As most of you ladies know; I transitioned for 16 months. For the last 3 months I wore kinky twists and they were the best thing ever!
